There was plenty of school holiday family fun on the Segways this July. New Zealanders, Australians, students, teachers and even a principal, we had them all. There were lots of new customers along with a handful of groups who we’ve seen before.

3 generations experience for a student, teachers and a principal from this far North Whanau

When looking for Queenstown family activities, the Segways offer something everyone can enjoy together. We had 3 generations on one trip and everyone thought it was one of the best things to do in Queenstown! There’s not many other Queenstown activities for families that a middle age couple can enjoy with their children and their parents at the same time. School holiday family fun was had by all!

Whatever the weather

A few cancellations had to be processed due to some rain. Others though, like the Belej family from Adelaide were up for it in any conditions. Being Winter in Queenstown there were inevitably some cold days. Those that dressed for the conditions were best prepared to manage it. As our most recent reviewer on Trip Advisor put it; “Don’t let cold or wet weather turn you off!” They sure had a lot more fun than they would have sitting in their hotel room.

2hr preference for returning customers

Returning customers from Australia, the Everetts.

Notably, the majority of our returning customers opted for the 2hr experience. It gave them more time to have a fun adventure together that doesn’t break the bank. It’s super handy to town and you get to see a whole lot more of Queenstown in a shorter time than walking.

For those that hadn’t tried it before, they got a sense of achievement. They learned how to ride a Segway then got to enjoy it while taking in the magnificent Queenstown sightseeing.

Thanks for opportunity to provide the memories!

A big thanks to the many people who took the time to write reviews. 9 out of the 10 reviews on google stated that they thought their guide was great. Comments included patient, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Thank you and you’re welcome! It was our pleasure to provide the memories for you. We hope to see you again one day. If you haven’t been with us yet then check us out and place your booking for some fun for all you won’t regret.
