Meeting and Training
To get started for your activity you’ll meet us at our starting point. It’s about a 10min walk from town or a 1min drive. This location is clarified when booking and can be found on our contact page.
We’ll get you to complete our safety terms form then get you fitted with a helmet. A quick training session will get you confidently controlling the Segway. It’s impossible not to smile while discovering to joy of riding this remarkable transporter. Segway on Q will take you through a few basic control tests and provide advice and assistance where necessary.
Ride Details
Once you’ve mastered the simple control of the Segway, you’re off for your Queenstown sightseeing ride. Start with a lakeside photo stop (with YOUR camera, no charge) then onwards for a spin around Queenstown Bay. You’ll take in the beautiful scenic views along St Omer Park, Earnslaw Park, Marine Parade and the Queenstown Gardens. Look around over the beautiful Lake Wakatipu to see Cecil Peak, Walter Peak and the aptly named Remarkables Mountain Range. All of this whilst riding on this fascinating transporter.
