In recent years, many Segway tour businesses around the world have closed their doors, particularly following the end of Segway PT production in 2020. But our story is different.
We’re doubling down!
In the past couple of months, Segway on Q’s owner, operator, and founder, Kevin Hey, has made bold moves to secure the long-term future of Segway tours in Queenstown. Kevin has personally sourced eight second-hand Segway PTs to strengthen the fleet. Some of these have been put straight into service, while others will be used for parts to help keep the current machines in top shape for years to come.
In addition, we’re proud to have recently purchased one of the last brand-new Segway PTs available from Segway New Zealand. And we’re not stopping there—we’re actively planning to acquire more while they’re still available.
What makes Segway on Q truly unique is our dedication to the Segway experience. From day one, our sole focus has been providing the best possible Segway tours in Queenstown. We haven’t branched into electric scooters, e-bikes, or other trends. Instead, we’ve spent years perfecting what we do best—offering fun, safe, and memorable Segway adventures for all ages.
